Team Pamela

 

 I am honoured that you are considering joining Team Pamela in helping create a future without breast cancer.

 

Like many of you, I have been deeply affected by this disease, particularly through my mother's struggle with breast cancer.  Because of amazing advances in early detection, my mother's illness was discovered in the early stages, treated and beaten.  Today at 83, my mother is the picture of health!  I treasure every minute with her, and I am so thankful for the progress we have made in early detection of breast cancer. 

 

We must ensure that this deadly disease is wiped out forever.  Our goal for reaching that milestone is 2020, and I believe we can do it.....if we work together!

 

This is why I hope you join me and Team Pamela in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure on October 3, 2010 at Concord Pacific Place.  You can walk or run the 1km or 5km route as part of a group that is committed to creating a future without breast cancer.  You don't need to be in 'peak' condition (Believe me, I'm not!).  It is entirely up to you whether you walk, run or just pledge your support, in person or online.  do it for yourself........or someone you love!

Be a part of this positive, inspirational and determined group that will succeed in making breast cancer history within our lifetime.  Walk or run in honour of someone you would like to support, someone you have lost to breast cancer or because you would like to raise money to fund research that will help beat this disease.

 

I am doing it for my mother, my daughter.................and all our mothers and daughters!
