CIBC CIBC celebrated its 15th anniversary as title sponsor of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure in 2011. More than 13,000 CIBC employees, their families and friends, took part in the annual CIBC Run for the Cure.
Through fundraising events such as the Think Pink® Kick-Off, in-branch promotion of the CIBC Pink Collection™, donations, pledges and in-branch promotions held across Canada, Team CIBC raised more than $3 million in support of the 2011 CIBC Run for the Cure, an outstanding contribution to further our vision of creating a future without breast cancer.

New Balance
New Balance continues to champion Canadians across the country who participate in the CIBC Run for the Cure. In 2012, New Balance will contribute a Foundation branded bag through the Fundraising Rewards program in addition to the coveted branded NB 860 running shoes to all participants who raise $1,500.
New Balance is also pleased to continue their commitment to health and fitness in the role of prevention and survivorship. In celebration of our survivors, New Balance is thrilled to provide the pink survivor t-shirts for the CIBC Run for the Cure, taking place this year on September 30, 2012. Running Room
The Running Room has been a proud supporter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation since the inception of the CIBC Run for the Cure in 1992. The Running Room, in conjunction with New Balance, is proud to host annual Survivor Clinics. These clinics provide specialized training and a support network for survivors who have the goal of completing the CIBC Run for the Cure. Additionally, the ongoing promotion of the CIBC Run for the Cure through Running Room’s magazine, electronic communications, and in-store activities across the country has allowed Team Running Room to increase their fundraising efforts and awareness of the cause.
“The Running Room team is proud to have been a part of the CIBC Run for the Cure since its earliest days. In addition to our support of the CIBC Run for the Cure, our Pink Ribbon line of clothing has contributed over $933,660.10 to the Foundation to date. Egg Farmers of Canada Egg Farmers of Canada (EFC) is proud to be the Official Nutritional Partner of Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure, for the third year running.
On September 30, 2012, be sure to look out for the Get Cracking® Warm-up at the beginning of each CIBC Run for the Cure event, to energize the crowds and get everyone motivated at all 50 sites. EFC will also be handing out fun egg resources at selected sites, and sharing their message that eggs are a great source of healthy energy for participants and supporters alike.
Additionally, Egg Farmers of Canada, along with some of their Provincial marketing boards, have signed up as a team along with other Canadians to fundraise, and walk or run at the event.

Canpar Canpar’s dedicated support as the Official Courier of the CIBC Run for the Cure extends year-round. With the logistics requirements to reach 60 communities across Canada, the Foundation has benefitted greatly from Canpar’s continued commitment since 1998. Canpar’s fleet of CIBC Run for the Cure branded trucks are seen across Canada on a daily basis, helping to generate awareness. In some cities these trucks are also parked on the CIBC Run for the Cure route to help guide participants, while Canpar employees volunteer their time to assist with key components of the event’s logistics. “Canpar and its dedicated employees are so pleased to continue to support this event and this very important cause. We are proud of the over $1.3 million dollars of support we’ve been able to contribute toward the CIBC Run for the Cure and the Foundation’s vision of creating a future without breast cancer,” says Laurie Stoneburgh, VP Sales & Customer Service, Canpar.

Revlon
The Foundation has benefited from a longstanding partnership with Revlon and its brands of cosmetics.
“Revlon Canada is committed to supporting a cause that affects so many women each year. We are proud to join the thousands of Canadians to help make this event such a success. Each year, Team Revlon goes above and beyond in its efforts to raise funds for the Run for the Cure. In 2011, Revlon booths were set up at select Run sites to offer participants the opportunity to purchase ‘grab bags’ of cosmetic products at great prices, to raise funds in support of the Foundation. Additionally, through their in-store promotion in October, Revlon continues to be a visible ambassador of the breast cancer cause across the country.

Since 2010, participants have eagerly lined up at food tents across the country to sample these popular PepsiCo products.
The ‘Pepsi Inspires Hope’ National Run Team participants are enthusiastic fundraisers, and have been recognized as a top 5 national team each year since 2010. This dedicated team is composed of over 1,000 PepsiCo and Pepsi Bottling Company employees across the country.

Weston Bakeries Limited, through its Country Harvest™ brand, has been a proud Official National Supplier of the CIBC Run for the Cure since 2005, supplying more than 645,000 bagels for participants on Run day.
